Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a full-time Paraprofessional to support students on school transportation and assist with mobility and safety needs. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist students with disabilities in boarding and exiting the bus safely.
• Ensure all students are seated and secured properly during transit.
• Provide support to students with mobility challenges, including assisting with wheelchairs and other mobility aids.
• Monitor student behavior and maintain a safe and orderly environment on the bus.
• Communicate effectively with the bus driver and school staff regarding issues during transportation.
• Attend to the needs of individual students, including personal care tasks if necessary.
• Follow established safety protocols and emergency procedures on the bus.
• Assist with other tasks in the school when needed.
