Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Myers is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver individualized speech and language therapy for patients. You will evaluate, plan, and implement evidence-based treatments in a supportive inpatient setting and track progress throughout care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required or must be obtained (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree (preferred)

Bachelor's degree with field experience
