Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team, delivering evidence-based evaluation and treatment to patients with speech and language needs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

The role requires state licensure, CCC certification, CPR; Master’s degree preferred. You’ll work in a supportive, nationwide organization recognized for compassionate care and opportunities for career growth within a large network.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (preferred)

Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field with experience

Current state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology

CCC Certification (ASHA)
