Creekstone Health and Wellness in Kissimmee, FL seeks a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in a subacute rehab setting.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure, and preferably CCC-ASHA. Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and therapists is essential to deliver holistic care and ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC-ASHA certification from ASHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
• Implement and document therapeutic interventions to support patient progress and rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
• Educate patients and families about communication disorders and rehabilitation techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress in line with regulatory standards.
• Participate in staff meetings and team-based care discussions.
• Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology.
