A strong emphasis is placed on accurate record-keeping and customer service in a HIPAA-compliant environment. Ideal candidates have 6+ months of specimen collection or 1+ year in a medical setting, plus 2+ years in customer service.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of specimen collector experience or 1+ year in medical field supporting patients.
• 2+ years of customer service can substitute for medical experience.
• Ability to navigate a smartphone and computer.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Background checks/background screening familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information and physician order details.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information.
• Order and maintain collection supplies onsite.
