Job summary

Millennium Health in Seattle, WA is seeking a Full-Time Specimen Collector to join our laboratory team. You will collect urine or oral-fluid specimens, process and package them for shipment, and act as the liaison between clinics and our lab.

The role requires attention to HIPAA and compliance policies, strong customer service, and the ability to travel between facilities as needed. A high school diploma is required, with prior medical or collection experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6+ months of specimen collection or 1+ year in medical field preferred.
• Ability to navigate a smartphone and computer effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping to the lab.
• Serve as a liaison between practice/clinic and the laboratory.
• Record patient information and physician order details accurately.
• Drive between facilities as needed and maintain inventory.
