Ideal candidates have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in medical settings, plus strong customer service skills and a valid driver’s license. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Must have 6+ months as a specimen collector or 1+ year in patient-facing medical roles.
• 2+ years of customer service experience can substitute medical experience.
• Must navigate smartphone and computer applications proficiently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• HIPAA/HiTrust compliance and confidentiality practices must be followed.
• Ability to perform duties with accuracy and attention to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as liaison between practice/clinic and the laboratory.
• Record patient information, orders, and lab details accurately.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in the portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe specimen collection processes as required.
• Travel between facilities may be required.
