Job summary

Apple Rehab is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver resident-focused language, voice and swallowing services within a long-term care setting. The role emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration with the Rehabilitation Director and care team to optimize communication and quality of life.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited SLP program, have CCC or be CFY-eligible, and possess eligibility for licensure, with prior long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited SLP program with CCC or CFY eligibility.
• Prior long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Rehab Director to evaluate and implement resident care programs.
• Manage caseload, schedule treatment, and maintain productivity.
• Instruct residents, families, and caregivers on speech therapy planning after discharge.
• Follow PPS guidelines and ensure documentation and billing compliance.
• Provide supervision to techs and assist in training affiliating students.
• Ensure environment and equipment meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Adhere to ethical, regulatory and professional standards.
