Job summary

Apple Rehab Avon seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to join our rehab team. You will provide high-quality resident care, evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, and work with the Rehabilitation Director to optimize patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate has CCC or CFY and licensure eligibility; prior long-term care experience is preferred. We offer a supportive, family-like environment with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited SLP program with CCC or CFY; licensure eligible.
• Prior long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Working with the RD, evaluates, develops, implements resident care programs.
• Manages caseload and schedules treatment sessions.
• Instructs residents, families, and caregivers in speech-language therapy.
• Adheres to PPS guidelines and compliant documentation.
• Oversees techs and assists in supervision of students.
• Maintains sanitary, safe, and well-equipped clinical environments.
• Follows ethical, regulatory, and professional standards.
