Job summary

Apple Rehab is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality resident care and maintain the maximum functional ability of residents. You will collaborate with the Rehabilitation Director, manage a caseload, and deliver both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to residents’ needs.

The role requires graduation from an accredited SLP program with CCC or CFY eligibility and licensure, with long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited SLP program; CCC certification or CFY candidate and licensure eligible.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with Rehabilitation Director to evaluate, develop, and implement resident care programs.
• Manage caseload in screening and treatment, in individual or group sessions.
• Instruct residents, families, and caregivers in speech therapy to continue after discharge.
• Ensure documentation and billing align with PPS guidelines and policies.
• Provide oversight of techns and assist in supervising affiliated students.
• Maintain safe, clean, and functional rehab environments.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards.
