Job summary

Apple Rehab Coccomo in Meriden, CT is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in delivering resident-focused care. You will collaborate with the Rehabilitation Director to provide high-quality ST services and support residents’ communication needs.

The ideal candidate will hold CCC or CFY eligibility, have a background in long-term care, and demonstrate commitment to professional growth while adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited SLP program with CCC or CFY and licensure eligibility.
• Prior long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, organize and implement resident care programs through ST procedures.
• Manage caseload via screening and scheduling treatment individually or in groups.
• Instruct resident, family, and caregivers in ST for discharge.
• Adhere to PPS guidelines and documentation policies.
• Provide supervision and education of affiliating students and techs.
• Ensure environment and equipment are sanitary and safe.
• Comply with ethical, regulatory and professional standards.
