Job summary

Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS) is seeking two dependable Shelter Support Staff to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. You will interact with clients, coworkers, vendors, and partners while delivering professional service at all times.

The role includes shift flexibility, safety walks, data entry in HMIS, and supporting meals and basic needs. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential in a busy shelter setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic data entry and MS Word/Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hourly safety walks across three floors to identify hazards and ensure safety.
• Provide hygiene products and basic-needs items to clients.
• Check clients in and reserve beds for the next 24 hours.
• Assist with meal distribution.
• Enter relevant data in HMIS and prepare incident reports.
