Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a compassionate Shared Living Provider to welcome an adult with developmental disabilities into your home, offering daily support, companionship, and a safe, inclusive environment. You will provide daily care, a private bedroom, transportation, and assistance with cooking, cleaning, personal care, and scheduling medical appointments, with 24/7 support from a dedicated ViaQuest Manager.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
Clean background checks required.
Home must meet safety requirements; home assessment may be required.
Home or renter’s insurance required.

Responsibilities

Provide daily care and support to an adult with a developmental disability.
Offer a private bedroom and a safe, supportive home environment.
Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation.
Encourage independence through skill development and guidance.
Schedule and attend medical appointments and social activities.
Keep simple daily records and communicate with ViaQuest staff.
Paid time off.
