Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a compassionate Shared Living Provider to welcome an adult with developmental disabilities into your home, offering daily support, companionship, and a safe, inclusive environment.

You will provide daily living assistance, a private bedroom, and transportation support, while coordinating medical appointments and activities with ViaQuest staff. Expect 24/6 support and ongoing training as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license with a reliable insured vehicle and good driving record
• Clean background checks
• Home must meet safety requirements and a home assessment is required
• Home or renter’s insurance suitable for hosting

Responsibilities

• The adult with developmental disability will live in your home and you will provide daily care and support
• Provide a private bedroom and a safe, supportive home environment
• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation
• Encourage independence through skill development and guidance
• Schedule and attend medical appointments and social activities
• Keep simple daily records and communicate with ViaQuest staff
• Paid time off
• Additional room & board income (average $630/month)
• Training, background checks, and certification
• 24/6 support from a dedicated ViaQuest Manager
• Tools and assistance for documentation, billing, and compliance
