Job summary

Ivy Park at Los Gatos is seeking a friendly Server to provide dining service in a premier senior living community. No prior experience is required—we will train the right candidate. You will take orders, serve residents and guests, and maintain a safe, courteous dining area as part of a caring team.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Effective written and verbal communication with staff, residents and families.
• Pass criminal background and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Set up and break down tables.
• Maintain proper serving techniques and etiquette.
• Ensure a safe environment for staff, residents and guests.
• Encourage teamwork with coworkers and other departments.
