Aventura at Carriage Inn is hiring a dependable, compassionate Driver to provide safe transportation for residents while delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires STNA certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work Monday through Friday in a resident-focused environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience with seniors, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

Must have an STNA certification.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience transporting seniors or working in senior living/healthcare is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Dependable, punctual, and professional.
Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be patient, compassionate, and resident-focused.
Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Safely transport residents to and from scheduled appointments, activities, errands, and outings.
Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
Follow transportation and safety regulations.
Conduct routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance concerns.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained vehicle.
Keep accurate transportation schedules and documentation.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and providers.
Provide respectful and compassionate assistance throughout transportation.
Assist with resident needs before, during, and after transportation.
