Aventura at Carriage Inn in Dayton, OH is seeking a dependable, compassionate Driver to provide safe transportation for residents. You will follow safety rules, assist with mobility, and deliver excellent customer service while upholding a professional, caring environment.

Responsibilities include transporting residents to appointments and activities, maintaining clean vehicles, documenting schedules, and communicating with families and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from scheduled appointments, activities, errands, and outings.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.

• Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle and accurate transportation documentation.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from scheduled appointments, activities, errands, and community outings.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Follow all applicable transportation and safety regulations.
• Conduct routine vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained vehicle.
• Maintain accurate transportation schedules and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and healthcare providers.
• Provide respectful and compassionate assistance to residents throughout the transportation process.
• Assist with resident needs before, during, and after transportation.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding resident safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid STNA certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience transporting seniors or working in a senior living, healthcare, or assisted living environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must demonstrate patience, compassion, and a resident-focused approach.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
