Aventura at Carriage Inn is hiring a dependable, compassionate Driver to provide safe transportation for residents while delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires STNA certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work Monday through Friday in a resident-focused environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience with seniors, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Must have an STNA certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience transporting seniors or working in senior living/healthcare is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be patient, compassionate, and resident-focused.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from scheduled appointments, activities, errands, and outings.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Follow transportation and safety regulations.
• Conduct routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained vehicle.
• Keep accurate transportation schedules and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and providers.
• Provide respectful and compassionate assistance throughout transportation.
• Assist with resident needs before, during, and after transportation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely transport residents to and from scheduled appointments, activities, errands, and community outings.

• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.

• Follow all applicable transportation and safety regulations.
