Job summary

Palm Bay Memory Care is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe spaces for residents in a warm, family-like setting. You will be responsible for cleaning resident rooms and common areas, following infection control procedures, and collaborating with the team to ensure a high standard of care.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, be able to communicate in English, and demonstrate physical stamina for lifting and standing during shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• High School or GED equivalent preferred.
• Complete all required employment screenings including criminal background check and drug screenings.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean common spaces and resident rooms in a timely and sanitary manner.
• Follow established cleaning standards, policies and procedures.
• Identify safety hazards, report to supervisor and assist in corrective actions.
• Maintain chemicals in properly labeled containers and secure storage areas.
• Assist with maintenance requests and communicate issues to the supervisor.
• Participate in team activities and contribute to a supportive work environment.
