Job summary

The Landing of Panama City Beach Memory Care in Panama City Beach, FL is seeking a housekeeping and laundry aide to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary community for residents.

Under supervision, you will follow cleaning schedules, dust, vacuum, mop, clean bathrooms, assist with dining service, and support a dignified, compassionate atmosphere.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED; one year related experience is preferred; physical stamina is required to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Follows established cleaning schedule.
• Completes daily dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping of all common areas.
• Follows established schedule for deep cleaning of resident rooms.
• Cleans administrative offices as scheduled.
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms.
• Cleans carpets and mops all floors upon request.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all residents.
• Ensures and supports a dignified and caring atmosphere for residents, families, visitors, and associates.
• Responds promptly and courteously to resident's, families, and visitors requests for assistance.
• Speaks to/interacts with residents showing empathy, kindness, compassion, and respect.
• Maintains a safe and secure working environment free of objects/situations that could cause harm and/or falls to residents, families visitors and associates.
• Provides hands-on assistance when requested or needed by nursing staff while working in the community.
