Job summary

Milestone is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper to support cleanliness, safety, and comfort in our assisted living and memory care community. You will perform housekeeping and laundry duties, maintain common areas, and ensure compliance with safety standards while delivering friendly interactions with residents and staff.

The role requires High School Diploma or GED, compassion for the elderly, strong communication, reliability, and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, coworkers, and vendors.
• Ability to complete cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Pleasant, professional, and personable demeanor.
• First Aid certification required.
• Must meet health requirements, including TB clearance.
• Must be 18 years or older and pass state-required fingerprinting and background check.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments, including bathrooms, floors, dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and linen changes.
• Maintain linen inventory and perform laundry services.
• Keep common areas clean and presentable for residents and visitors.
• Perform floor care (sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, carpet care).
• Clean and sanitize public restrooms and surfaces.
• Follow safety and labeling requirements for cleaning supplies.
• Participate in training and on-the-job learning opportunities.
• Report elder maltreatment or abuse as required.
