Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Cook to support the Kitchen Manager and prepare meals for residents in a restaurant-style dining setting called the “Bread Basket.” The role requires following menus, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and engaging with residents during meals.

The position is full-time with a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates should be reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy kitchen environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following Bickford’s menus, processes, and expectations.
• Serve food timely, at correct temperatures, and appropriately plated.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide and dishwashing procedures.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room to enhance their dining experience.
• Maintain kitchen and dining areas to regulatory cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager for specials and events.
