Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Cook to support the Kitchen Manager and prepare meals for residents in a restaurant-style dining experience called the Bread Basket. The role includes serving meals promptly, maintaining cleanliness, and complying with dietary requirements and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include food preparation, dishwashing, and assisting with tours and events while sustaining a welcoming dining atmosphere for residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following Bickford’s menus, processes, and expectations.
• Serve food timely, at the correct temperatures, and appropriately plated.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide and dishwashing procedures.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room to enhance dining experiences.
• Maintain accurate food service records and food storage per regulations.
• Assist with tours/events and keep kitchen/dining areas clean and stocked.
