Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Cook to support the Kitchen Manager and prepare meals for residents in a restaurant-style setting called the “Bread Basket.” This full-time role offers a benefits package and daily pay options. You will work in a dynamic team to deliver high-quality dining experiences and maintain kitchen cleanliness per regulations.

Responsibilities include meal prep, timely service, dishwashing, and collaboration for tours and events, while following menus and dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following Bickford’s menus, processes and expectations.
• Serve food timely, at correct temperatures, and appropriately plated.
• Follow Kitchen Daily Task Guide and dining room procedures.
• Interact with residents to enhance the dining experience.
• Wash dishes and pots per Bickford’s procedure.
• Maintain records and follow regulatory requirements for food service.
• Store food safely and keep kitchen & dining areas clean.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager for tours and events.
