Job summary

Regency Village at Bend is seeking a Cook to join our retirement and assisted living community in Bend, Oregon. You will prepare and serve meals, oversee foodservice operations, and ensure sufficient food and supplies for residents, while adhering to state sanitation codes.

We seek compassionate team players with at least one year of cooking experience, able to read and follow menus, maintain a clean kitchen, and provide excellent service to residents.

Qualifications

• Must have Food Handler's card or be able to obtain one.
• Meet all mandatory health requirements per state regulations.
• Typical candidates have around 1 year of cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to residents within scheduled times.
• Follow menu cycle and record changes or substitutions.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen and dining areas.
• Ensure compliance with state sanitation codes.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
• Accommodate residents' food preferences and dietary needs.
