Celebration Village Forsyth is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare wholesome, nutritious meals for residents in our senior living community. You will report to the Dining Services Director and play a key role in delivering quality food while maintaining safety and consistency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years cooking experience in healthcare or hospitality.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must pass drug testing and background check.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Professional appearance and good personal hygiene.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve healthy, nutritious meals at the correct temperatures.
• Follow recipes and monitor portions to control costs.
• Record and monitor temperatures during storage, preparation, cooking, and serving.
• Label, date, and store all foods properly.
• Monitor temperatures of kitchen refrigerators and freezers daily.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and equipment.
• Report equipment and safety issues to the Food Service Director.
• Work as a team to maintain a pleasant, efficient work environment.
