Job summary

Inspirations is seeking a Cook to provide wholesome, nutritious meals for our senior living community. You will report to the Dining Services Director and prepare items with quality ingredients, monitor temperatures, label and store foods, and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen.

We require a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of cooking experience, preferably in healthcare or hospitality. Serv-Safe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years cooking experience, preferably in healthcare or hospitality.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Professional appearance and good personal hygiene expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food using high quality ingredients and proper garnishes.
• Record and monitor food temperatures during storage, preparation, cooking, and serving.
• Label, date, and store all foods properly and manage inventory.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen and equipment; follow safety procedures.
