Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous cooking experience in a senior living, healthcare, or restaurant setting (preferred).
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal plans.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.

Responsabilidades

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans, ensuring nutrition, appetite, and dietary requirements are met.
• Meal Service: Serve meals timely with high quality, portion control, and presentation.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and proper storage of supplies.
• Team Collaboration: Work with Dietary Manager and kitchen staff; assist in training new staff.
• Inventory Control: Help track and report shortages or order needs.
• Resident Engagement: Respond to special dietary requests and accommodate resident preferences.
• Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations and sanitation practices.
