Job summary

The Aspenwood Company is seeking dedicated Resident Assistants for Assisted Living and Memory Care in Denton. You will support seniors with daily activities, meal support, and engaging leisure activities in a warm, homelike setting.

PRN shifts available, with varied hours including weekends. HIPAA-compliant care and strong communication are essential to ensure residents feel valued and safe.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving, good judgment, and attention to detail.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, dining).
• Serve meals and assist in meal preparation; encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Initiate and participate in leisure activities; encourage socialization.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of leisure activities, incidents, and changes in residents' conditions.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment; perform housekeeping duties.
