Job summary

The Aspenwood Company is seeking dedicated Resident Assistants to provide compassionate care and create a warm, homelike environment for our residents at Village on the Park Stonebridge. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, and social activities to support independence and well‑being.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and attention to detail.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and dining, while encouraging independence.
• Serve meals and assist in meal preparation; promote proper nutrition and hydration.
• Initiate and participate in leisure activities to encourage socialization.
• Maintain accurate records of leisure activities, incidents, observations, and changes in residents’ conditions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment; perform light housekeeping duties.
• Follow proper emergency procedures and respond quickly to resident requests (pendants, calls).
