Job summary

The Aspenwood Company - The Doliver of Tanglewood in Houston, TX is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to support seniors in a memory care community. You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, and social engagement while promoting independence.

This full-time role requires a High School diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year of resident care experience. Weekend and holiday availability is expected; benefits include 401K, paid time off rollover, and a $250 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of resident care experience, preferably with seniors.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, dining)
• Serve meals and support nutrition and hydration
• Initiate and participate in leisure activities to promote socialization
• Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and changes in residents' conditions
• Ensure a clean, safe environment and perform light housekeeping
• Respond to emergencies and resident requests promptly
• Know resident locations and report if a resident cannot be located
• Collaborate with team and attend trainings
