Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents’ daily living in a home-like, supportive environment in Quincy, IL. This role offers 1st and 3rd shifts with flexible full- and part-time employment options.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor safety, and collaborate with a caring team to enhance residents’ quality of life and dignity every day.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus; training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving dignity.
• Monitor safety and observe changes in residents' condition.
• Accurately document resident care and changes.
• Communicate with nursing staff and caregivers about resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities promoting well-being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA and policies.
• Support a clean, safe, welcoming living environment.
