Americare Senior Living in Fairview Heights, IL seeks a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA). You will support residents with daily living activities in a warm, home-like setting, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity.

Work includes collaboration with a caring team focused on resident well-being. You’ll help residents with ADLs, document care, and participate in activities that promote health, social engagement, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment
