Job summary

Longevity Senior Living is seeking compassionate caregivers to support residents with daily living activities in Granite City, IL. You will work closely with nursing and engagement teams to promote dignity, safety, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, hygiene, and transportation, while documenting care in the electronic health record. We value reliability, calmness, and a patient, resident-centered approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior caregiving experience in senior living or healthcare preferred.
• State-specific credential (STNA/CNA/HHA) preferred or required.
• CPR/First Aid preferred; willingness to obtain within 30–60 days.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) preferred.
• Strong communication, patience, and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, grooming, hygiene, and mobility as directed.
• Support residents in daily activities and report observations to nursing staff.
• Maintain safety and dignity; respond promptly to call lights.
• Assist residents in bed/with transfers using proper techniques.
• Document care in the electronic record per policy.
• Adhere to all policies, safety standards, and reporting requirements.
