The Parc at Sharon Amity is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities and provide compassionate care in a safe, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, monitoring health, promoting engagement, and adhering to safety and infection control protocols. Education and prior caregiving experience are valued, with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a state-approved PCA, CNA, or caregiver training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living, or healthcare preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of caregiving techniques and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care Support: Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in residents' health, behavior, and physical condition to the nursing team; assist with medication reminders.
• Resident Engagement: Foster relationships with residents and encourage participation in activities.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain clean, safe living areas and follow infection control protocols; respond to emergencies.
