Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents' daily living in a warm, home-like setting. You will assist with ADLs, provide dignity-centered care, and help residents feel safe and respected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and/or BLS certifications are a plus—training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe changes in condition.
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well‑being.
