Qualifikationen

• Must have high school education.
• Possession of valid state CNA certification.

• Effective communication with management, residents and families.
• Passion to work with senior citizens.

Aufgaben

• Provides residents assistance with activities of daily living (ADL) and dignity.
• Assists residents in meeting physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Adheres to each resident’s Level of Care and notifies supervisor of changes.
• Responds to resident calls in a timely manner and escorts to meals as needed.
• Checks residents every two hours and reports findings.
• Completes assignment sheets daily and follows clock-in/out procedures.
• Assists with meals and dining room setup/cleanup as directed.
• Keeps resident rooms and personal belongings tidy and respects privacy.
• Assists with personal laundry and maintains safe body mechanics.
• Establishes and maintains good relationships with residents and families.
• Follows safety and OSHA regulations for waste and equipment.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in life enrichment activities when able.
