Job summary

HarborChase, LLC. seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist residents with daily living activities, always preserving dignity and respect. You will provide support with meals, mobility, and personal care, while documenting changes and responding to calls promptly.

A high school diploma and CNA certification (or eligibility) are required; prior senior living experience is preferred. Join a dedicated care team focused on resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school education.
• Non-Certification with proper training, or possession of valid state certification as C.N.A.
• 1-3 years experience in a senior care community or nursing home environment preferred.
• Has a good understanding of how Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease can affect behavior.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, associates, residents, family members, and outside contacts.
• Must possess a passion to work with and around senior citizens.

Responsibilities

• Provides residents assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Assists residents in meeting physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Adheres to each resident's Level of Care (LOC) and notifies supervisor of any changes.
• Answers and responds to resident calls in a timely manner.
• Checks residents every two hours and reports findings.
• Assists with meals and dining room setup and cleanup as directed by supervisor.
• Assists with resident's personal laundry and room tidying as directed by supervisor.
• Establishes and maintains good relationships with residents and their families.
• Follows OSHA regulations for incontinent products and safety guidelines.
