Job summary

CHSGa is seeking a kitchen helper to prepare meals according to dietitian-approved menus and to operate various kitchen equipment. You will work in a team to ensure meals are produced safely and on time with proper portioning.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Team-oriented with good communication and a caring demeanor.
• Basic math for portions and recipe measurements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals per menu created by dieticians for each meal.
• Operates kitchen equipment such as mixer, slicer, oven and steamer.
• Ensures meals are prepared and served on time and maintain portion controls.
• Follows infection control policies and keeps equipment and surfaces clean.
