Chaplinwood Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated kitchen associate to prepare meals according to dietitian menus for the elderly, operate commercial kitchen equipment, and maintain strict cleanliness standards. You will assist in tray line service, manage portion control, and ensure timely meal delivery while adhering to infection control policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and a professional, friendly demeanor.

Formación

• A high school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares meals according to menus created by dieticians for each meal of the day.
• Operates kitchen equipment such as mixer, meat slicer, food processor, oven, steamer.
• Ensures cleanliness of work surfaces and equipment; cleans and inventories leftovers.
• Assists in tray line service and serves meals to residents on schedule.
• Follows infection control policies and records temperatures per procedures.
