Job summary

LIFE-NWPA is hiring a Driver/PCA to transport participants to appointments and support daily needs, in both center and home settings. You’ll ensure safety, assist with mobility, and maintain compassionate, reliable service as part of a supportive team.

Starting pay is $15.90/hour with potential raise to $16.90/hour after 90 days, plus eligibility for frontline incentives. Full-time hours with shift flexibility and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; hands-on training available.
• Q‑Stract Academy Certification (training provided).
• Experience with frail or elderly population a plus, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive participants safely to and from scheduled appointments and the center.
• Assist participants on and off the vehicle with care and courtesy.
• Operate wheelchair lifts, secure mobility devices, and follow safety procedures.
• Adjust transportation routes as needed while following established schedules.
• Run occasional errands for the center, such as picking up supplies or medications.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Attend required staff meetings and training sessions.
• Adapt transportation schedules throughout the day based on appointments and care needs.
