Job summary

One Senior Care is hiring a Driver/PCA to transport participants to appointments and support daily needs, in centers or homes. You’ll follow safety procedures, assist with transfers, and provide compassionate, reliable care as part of a supportive team.

We offer training, mentorship, and career development; CPR/First Aid may be pursued after hire. Schedule flexibility and weekend rotations may be required, with a focus on participant safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Q-Straint Academy Certification provided/training.
• Experience with frail or elderly population is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive participants safely to and from scheduled appointments and the center.
• Assist participants on and off the vehicle with care and courtesy.
• Operate wheelchair lifts and secure mobility devices.
• Adjust transportation routes as needed while following schedules.
• Run errands for the center as needed.
• Communicate effectively with participants, families, staff, and outside agencies.
• Report changes in participant condition to the care team.
• Provide Personal Care Aide support including bathing and toileting when needed.
• Keep the vehicle clean, safe, and maintained; report needs promptly.
• Attend required meetings and training sessions.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
