Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a dedicated caregiver in Cincinnati to assist residents with daily living activities and provide emotional support. You will follow the supervisor's schedule, document care, and report concerns while upholding residents' independence and dignity.

The role requires at least one year of senior care experience, English proficiency, and a compassionate, team-oriented approach. State-dependent CNA/CHHA licensure may be required, with basic computer skills expected.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• Proficiency in English to perform duties and respond to emergencies.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on state.
• Basic computer skills expected.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging and helpful demeanour.
• Ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple tasks safely.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to solve practical problems in high-stress situations.
• Maintain positive and friendly attitude toward residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service).
• Follow resident needs schedule set by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of resident issues or concerns.
• Respect independence, dignity and confidentiality of residents.
