Job summary

Senior Lifestyle in Cincinnati, OH is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist residents with activities of daily living in our assisted living program. You will provide medication reminders, assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility while promoting dignity and independence.

A minimum of one year in senior care is required; a CNA or CHHA license may be needed depending on state. Strong English, basic computer skills, and a team-oriented, empathetic approach are essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform duties and communicate with staff.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on the state.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging and helpful.
• Ability to multitask safely and efficiently as part of a team.
• Independent decision-making when circumstances warrant it.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and medication reminders.
• Follow the resident care schedule set by the supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect residents' independence, dignity, and confidentiality.
