Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Care Associate for Assisted Living (Part Time, 7am–3pm) in Cincinnati, OH. You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide medication reminders, and offer emotional and social support to enhance quality of life.

Position requires at least one year in senior care, English proficiency, and a compassionate, team-oriented mindset. CNA/CHHA license may be required depending on state, with opportunities to grow within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in senior care is required.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond to emergencies.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on the state.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Ability to solve practical problems in high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
