Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain CNA or Personal Care Aide Certificate (80-Hour) within 6 months of hire.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and follow directions.
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to Lift, Push, Pull and Carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Two-step tuberculin skin test required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to residents with activities of daily living per Care Plan.
• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, eating, transferring and personal hygiene.
• Respond to hand bells or signaling calls and assist with transportation when indicated.
• Assist the Activities Coordinator with planned activities.
• Maintain residents' clothes in proper order and provide clean towels and washcloths.
• Maintain accurate documentation of progress notes, incidents and changes in condition.
