Job summary

Elite Home Care, Day Centers & Transportation in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity/Member Assistant to join our team. You will help plan engaging activities and provide supportive care to our elderly and young adult members in a friendly environment.

Responsibilities include assisting the Activity Director, facilitating activities, and maintaining client confidentiality. You will monitor behavior changes, document updates for the RN Administrator, and help create

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with elderly or disabled individuals preferred.
• Reliable transportation and/or a valid driver’s license.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to assist members with personal care.
• Clean background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in planning and implementing engaging activities.
• Provide hands-on personal care (ADL) to members.
• Foster a positive and interactive environment with members.
• Set up and clean activity areas for safety and organization.
• Redirect behaviors to maintain a supportive atmosphere.
• Monitor and document changes in client behavior or health for RN Administrator.
