Job summary

The Humboldt Senior Resource Center is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) in Fortuna, CA. This full-time position offers a salary range of $47.60 - $52.50 hourly, and involves providing comprehensive nursing and care coordination in a PACE setting for elderly adults.

The RN will engage in assessments, develop care plans, and administer treatments. Responsibilities include monitoring health status, managing medications, and educating participants and families. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience working with a frail or elderly population preferred.
• 1 year experience working in a hospital is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in California is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and identify participant needs.
• Develop individualized Plans of Care.
• Provide direct nursing care and monitor participant health status.

Skills

Knowledge of practical nursing practices

Strong verbal and written communication

Ability to work with elderly and disabled adults

Teamwork skills

Education

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing

Tools

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
