Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum in the Med Surg Unit 1.

The RN is accountable for nursing practice per the Ohio Board of Nursing, delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs, and participates in safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a high reliability organization.

Shift is Day, with 36 scheduled hours per week, in a 24/7/365 department dedicated to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio
• BLS certification
• BSN required at 5 years of employment

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual (30%).
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes.
• Leadership - Actively participates in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
