Job summary

ProHealth Physicians, part of the Optum family of businesses within UnitedHealth Group, is hiring an RN in Bristol, CT. The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with a rotating schedule and occasional Saturday coverage.

You will provide direct patient care, document in the EHR, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient wellness. Requirements include CT RN licensure, 1+ year of nursing experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in CT.
• 1+ years of nursing experience.
• Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with an electronic health record (Epic) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document patient care such as injections and preventive screenings.
• Triage patients according to approved protocols and scheduling guidelines.
• Prepare patients for visits by collecting and recording clinical information.
• Educate patients regarding their illness or injury and self-management.
• Document all patient interactions in the EHR accurately and timely.
• Conduct outreach to patients for appointments and test results.
